JWs encourage much too young children to make the most important decision of their lives. A person that cannot be held liable in a contract agreement due to age, should not be baptized.
Not old enough to drive/drink/marry, all very important decisions, not old enough for baptism.

not long after learning ttatt, my hubby and i decided it would be best for us to fade.
his entire family is in, but not in the same cong.
we made it to the region convention and one sunday meeting after that.
Ever since the emotional detachment and full understanding of TTATT, the guilt is gone and I just enjoy the social aspect of it.
I daydream with attending meetings a couple of times per month, skipping the Friday of he RA, skipping one of the small assys, out on service just a couple of times each month. Just enough to avoid being kicked out.

are you happy where you are now?.
does it make you feel special that you are more "privileged" than non-jws or other jws who have less preaching hours than you do?.
I consider myself quite happy. Normal disposition. Overall good considering the circumstances.
